The soybean industry’s most influential figures will take the stage at a major gathering in Washington.
As the countdown continues for Soy Connext 2025, the global showcase for the soybean industry, the names of the industry leaders who will speak at the event have been announced. The event, to be held in Washington, DC, from August 20-22, 2025, will feature experts in a wide range of fields, from agriculture and economics to sustainability and the supply chain.
The opening remarks will be delivered by Janna Fritz, President of the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC). Fritz will also share updates on the growing season with U.S. farmers in the “Fresh from the Farm: U.S. Soybean Insights” session.
Cargill Oilseeds Analyst Bruno Coletti will share his insights on the supply-demand balance in the soybean complex. Dr. Delanie Kellon will present the scientific background of sustainable feed and food production, drawing on current data from GFLI.
AgCom founder Alman Bosch will discuss the impact of the farm-to-table supply chain on productivity and quality, while Adam Guetter from the American Soybean Association will provide important insights into commodity policies.
Renowned journalist Katty Kay from BBC America will take the stage in the keynote session, the international showcase of the event. Kay will assess the impact of global developments on agriculture and trade.
In the economic sessions, Erik Norland from the CME Group will analyze the impact of fluctuations in commodity and financial markets on the agricultural sector. USSEC CEO Jim Sutter will deliver the closing remarks.
