The countdown has begun for the U.S. Soybean Export Council’s flagship event.
Soy Connext, the international meeting point for the soybean industry, has announced its agenda for 2025. The event, which will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC, from August 20-22, 2025, is organized by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC). Bringing together global producers, suppliers, and buyers, Soy Connext aims to share American soybeans’ sustainable growth vision and innovative solutions with the world.
Sustainable production, quality, global trade, and scientific trends are on the agenda.
The first day of the event, August 20th, features trade meetings and a welcome reception for industry representatives. A busy content program awaits participants on August 21st. The day will begin with an opening remarks by USSEC President Janna Fritz, followed by a panel discussion on “The Future of Supply and Demand” hosted by Bruno Coletti from Cargill. American farmers will then provide first-hand insights into the growing season.
In a session focusing on sustainable feed and food production, GFLI Director Dr. Delanie Kellon will provide information on decision-making mechanisms supported by life cycle analysis. Alman Bosch, will also examine the role of technology in the soybean supply chain.
Later in the day, examples from aquaculture and data on food trends will be shared under the heading “Commodity Emergence.” Evening sessions will discuss the impact of soybean quality on profitability and how scientific findings are being integrated into the business world.
The BBC’s Katty Kay will be on stage, and next year’s announcement will be made at the closing.
The morning of August 22nd will begin with an inspiring keynote speech by renowned BBC America reporter Katty Kay. Erik Norland from the CME Group will assess the impact of global economic developments on agricultural markets.
At the end of the event, USSEC CEO Jim Sutter will summarize the three-day keynotes and announce the date and location of the 2026 Soy Connext event.
