SEC MENA is holding its 10th Feed Milling Training Course, aimed at strengthening the feed industry’s technical capacity, online on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Cairo time). Developed in collaboration with Kansas State University and Auburn University, the training will bring together leading industry experts and offer comprehensive, practical content.
Participants can access the training by logging into the SEC Community Pod platform at soyexcellence.org. Throughout the day, critical topics will be discussed, ranging from efficiency management in feed milling operations to sustainability, mycotoxin control and biosecurity, the impact of poultry feed composition on performance, and managing winter production challenges.
As part of the program, Dr. Carlos A. Campabadal will address the topic “The Role of a Feed Miller to Manage Efficiency.” Dr. Campabadal will also explain the importance of sustainable practices in feed production with the session “Sustainability in a Feed Mill.” He will share strategies for the prevention and control of mycotoxins in his presentation “The Prevention and Control of Mycotoxins from a Feed Miller Manager’s Perspective.” Dr. Wilmer Pacheco from Auburn University will evaluate the effects of feed structure on poultry growth and performance in the session “Understanding the Role of Feed Structure in Optimizing Poultry Growth and Efficiency.” Another important topic by Dr. Pacheco, his presentation “Feed Mill Biosecurity: Protecting the Feed, the Birds, and the Business,” will emphasize the critical importance of biosecurity measures for the entire production chain. The final technical session of the day will be “Winter Challenges in Feed Manufacturing: Managing Steam, Moisture, and Pellet Quality,” also given by Dr. Pacheco, and will focus on challenges encountered in winter production, such as managing steam, moisture, and pellet quality. SEC MENA’s 10th Feed Milling Training Course program contributes to the development of feed production technologies in the MENA region with its comprehensive training, offering industry professionals the opportunity to learn directly from international experts.
