The 9th Regional Aquaculture Production and Investment Conference organized by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) will take place in Muscat, the capital of Oman, from May 2-5, 2025. The event, which will be held at the Kempinski Hotel Muscat, will address regional and global investment opportunities in the aquaculture sector.
The conference will host leading academics, investors and industry professionals from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa regions. The event, which will begin with opening speeches by USSEC Regional Director Brent Babb, officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Soybean Board (USB), will feature comprehensive presentations and discussions on aquaculture production and investment strategies.
The event will discuss new technologies, sustainability and region-specific investment opportunities in the aquaculture and feed sector, and Bedri Girit from Türkiye will provide the latest developments in the sector as a Board Member of the Aegean Exporters Association.
The closing session on the last day will discuss regional and global investment strategies with the participation of Brent Babb and other panelists.
