USSEC “EUROPEAN & MENA SOYBEAN BUYERS’ CONFERENCE” WAS HAS BEEN CONDUCTED SUCCESSFULLY
The “European & MENA Soybean Buyers’ Conference” organized by the U.S. Soybean Export Council at the Westin Excelsior in Rome on February 5-7, 2025, was successfully concluded. The event, which brought together industry professionals, attracted great interest and was highly appreciated by the participants.
The annual Soybean Buyers’ Conference organized by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) brought together soybean and protein value chain professionals from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The event addressed important regional issues such as sustainability, transparent and reliable supply chains and the rapidly growing role of soybeans in global nutrition.
U.S. soybean farmers Lance Rezac (Kansas, USSEC President), Robb Ewoldt (Iowa, United Soybean Board – USB Director) and Andrew Moore (Georgia, American Soybean Association – ASA Director) shared their experiences in sustainable soybean production. Ewoldt also gave a detailed presentation on the effects of regenerative agriculture, which he implements on his farm.
The conference strengthened connections between farmers, international soybean buyers, and industry leaders, and positioned U.S. Soybeans as a key solution for the future of global nutrition, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
Fifteen Turkish companies, which helped Turkey break records in U.S. soybean imports this year, also participated in this valuable event.
The U.S. Soybean Export Council thanked all participants for the great interest and participation shown throughout the conference, and stated that it will continue to contribute to the sector with similar events.
